Opera View sits on Level 4 of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay — an open, light-filled floor with the Opera House front on and the Harbour Bridge at your shoulder.

Our space
Built around the view
The room runs the length of the terminal with glass along the harbour side, so the Opera House, the Bridge and the water are visible from every table. There are no columns cutting the floor and no shared walls — one event at a time, on the whole level.
A generous pre-function area handles arrival drinks and registration, the main floor takes dining and dancing, and the bars sit along the inner wall so nothing blocks the outlook. Ceremonies, staging, photo moments and the dance floor can all be placed against the water.
Because we are on the top level, the light changes through the evening — golden hour across the sails, then the city and the Bridge lit up behind your guests.

Staging and dance floor
Modular staging, dance floor, lectern and easel signage available as part of your set-up.
Arrival and access
Lift access to the top level, step-free entry, accessible bathrooms, and a sheltered drop-off at the terminal.
Styling and furniture
House tables, chairs, linen and glassware, plus florals, lighting and styling arranged with our preferred suppliers.

Two minutes from Circular Quay ferries and trains, walking distance to major hotels, and paid parking beneath the Quay.

Premium harbour event dates released with dedicated packages.
- Minimum food and beverage spend applies in place of, or alongside, the hire fee depending on the date.
- Catering and beverages are quoted per person once your guest numbers and menu are confirmed.
- A deposit secures your date; the balance is due before the event.
- Public holiday and peak-date surcharges apply and are confirmed in writing in your quote.

Transport, parking and access
Public transport
- Train: Circular Quay station is a five minute walk.
- Ferry: all Circular Quay wharves are a short walk along the quay.
- Light rail: L2 and L3 stop at Circular Quay.
- Bus: many city routes stop at Circular Quay and Alfred Street.
Parking and drop-off
- Paid public car parks are available in The Rocks and around Circular Quay. We suggest booking a space ahead.
- Taxis and rideshare can drop off and collect on Circular Quay West, outside the terminal.
- Street parking nearby is limited and time restricted.
Accessibility
- Lift access to Level 4 from the terminal entrance.
